Senior Traffic Engineer

The Role

CaSE (Civil and Structural Engineering) is looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join its newest component of the CaSE group of companies, CaSE Traffic and Transport Solutions.

The Senior Traffic Engineer will report into the Principal Traffic Engineer and work on a range of projects across our company’s portfolio.

You will be responsible for delivering packages of work to ensure time, quality and safety targets are achieved. You will have an increased level of responsibility, interface with clients and external stakeholders, as well as leading and supporting junior Engineers in their role.

Responsibilities

• Apply traffic engineering and management principals to deliver the agreed scope of work to the highest standard
• Work with clients and external stakeholders to develop “best for project” outcomes
• Represent clients in meetings on traffic related issues
• Delegate and supervise the work of junior engineers and partners
• Provide advice on traffic related issues to both internal and external customers
• Support the Case management team and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines

The successful candidate will possess:

• 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of, and experience across a range of technical areas including traffic modelling and impact assessment, road safety, road design and traffic management for works on roads
• Good negotiation skills and experience dealing with external stakeholders and regulators
• Excellent communication skills
• University Degree in Civil Engineering is desirable
