World Day for Safety and Health at Work

28 Apr 2021

CaSE acknowledges the importance of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, which falls on the 28th of April every year.

Every day, 6,300 people die as a result of occupational accidents and work-related diseases. This means 317 million accidents occur on the job annually.

These statistics put a light on how important compliance and safety are, especially if working in a workplace where certain hazards can be present. As a company, this issue is very close to our hearts and we are committed to supporting our teams by providing a safe and healthy working environment that is respected at all levels (from government, employers to workers). We provide training for both on-site and off-site, detailed safety measurements, and also continuously strive for a safe working culture.

Today is World Day for Safety and Health at Work and some of our team members got together to highlight the importance of this day. Practising workplace safety is important to us and the people we love especially those at home waiting for us.

Safety is not only important for us as individuals, but also for those closest to us. To highlight more importance on this issue, some of our team members took this opportunity to share with us their personal take on why it's important to put attention to health and work safety.

We need to play our part not just today, but also every day. So let's work together to promote and practise safety at all times.
